ICR2/CART World Records

This page used to be available at Simulator Cyberworld but had not been updated for a number of years. We contacted SCW and asked if we could take over the page and start updating it again, with your records ! The old page can still be found at Simulator Cyberworld, we thank them for keeping it up over the years and for allowing us to continue it here.

Some notes on this page:

1.	If a track is not listed on this page do not shy away from sending laps anyway, there have been a lot of nice new tracks made available to the ICR2 community in the last couple of years since this page was last updated and part of the reason for this page addition to this site is to encourage the use of those tracks
2.	We have come to a point where cheating to get a better lap will just results in you looking silly when the fraud is discovered. The potential drop in social status within the ICR2 community when that happens is far greater than any possible rise that can be got from being the fastest in this almost 11 year old race sim. It still goes without saying that no tampering with <track>.txt files is allowed.
3.	Only the 10 fastest laps will be shown for each track. When you submit a fast lap the slowest time will be bumped from the list.

Guidelines for submitting fast laps:

1. Send an email to records@cartracinghq.com and write in it:
	A: Your full name; B: The name of the track and its origin [ICR2/N1/N2/N99/N3/NL/GPL] for which your are sending in a fast lap.
2. Please attach a .zip or .rar file to your message containing:
	A: A screenshot of the laptime or lapspeed from the pitboard or the F1 screen; B: A replay of the lap, please leave a little room [at least 2 seconds] before and after crossing the S/F line when you cut the replay.
3. Although not strictly mandatory, we highly encourage including a setup with which the lap was driven as well to assist other drivers in being faster.

Requirements for your fast laps:

	Drive a clean lap:
1.	Drive with at least 1 wheel on the racing surface at all times during the lap;
2.	Only slight contact with a wall is allowed, as long as it does not help the car to be faster;
3.	You can use any weather setting you like to run your laps, just as long as it's adjusted from within the game [so again, no tampering with the <track>.txt file].
