You can still find demo's of ICR2 on the internet. For example the DOS version at the DOS Games Archive. There is a demo of the Windows version as well. I found one at PC World. Another place, which has both demo's and a good couple of game patches for the full game, is 3D Gamers.

You can read reviews about ICR2 at Game Revolution and Gamespot. At Gamespot there is also a nice piece about the history of Papyrus race simulations with a little word on ICR2 as well.

A page with some good old graphical track edits from the past can be found on the domain of Rhamm.

Here's the link to a new forum set up for ICR2 discussion.

Go to Scuderia Fastwalker for some scratchbuilt tracks.

CowtownRacers has a 1997 Champcar carset and a great utility for managing and editing your ICR2 game.

The Autosim Indycar 2 page has a FAQ about the game and some other cool things.

Rick King has a page with some ICR2 stuff still on his website.

A great resource is SimRacingConnection, their track list can be a great help when looking for a track.

A new site with the intention to keep ICR2 downloads available to the public is the Indycar Racing 2 Resource [down].

Simulator Cyberworld has most of its ICR2 content back online !

The IIRS has found a new home here at CART Racing Headquarters but the old site is still where we left it at Geocities.

IIRS is not the only league there has been for ICR2 offline racers. Another one was the Internet Grand National League. A small miracle that this site is still online ! Not updated anymore of course.

Another site that used to have a big supply of ICR2 downloads is The US Pits. At one point they moved all the downloads for the older sims to The Norway Pits. But at some point they were removed from that site too. This is a true shame because there was some great stuff at The Pits. One thing that is still online is the IWCCCARS section, which has ICR2 carsets as well.

Speed Racing
was intended to be an archive for Papyrus Simulation downloads but is no longer being updated. It might still have the track you want.

KARsports calls itself the Worst Indycar Racing 2 Page on the Internet and some might consider the look of the site at least a good contender but the content is top notch nonetheless. The older CART carsets are very nice indeed.

There is an old site still online that has rendition patches for a lot of tracks. So if you run the rendition version of ICR2 make sure that you know about B's ICR2 Rendition Track Enhancement Project.

Pontiacfan has some files for ICR2 on his site. The left front wheel bug patches for a couple of carsets for example.

One of the best sites for ICR2 has to be Blue Thunder. Quite rightfully calling itself the birthplace of the best sim carsets it is unfortunately no longer updated.

The Deep Blue Motorsports website has not been updated for a long time but it is still online. Beware, this site will give you a lot of pop-up windows when you click it.

Another great site was SimChamp. Was, because this site is now gone. Well, not quite completely gone, I found a bit of it that is still online from when the site was still on Angelfire.

Simcrash is another site that seems to be gone but still has some parts that are still online. The ICR2 is no longer available but there is still an opening page of some description.

The ICR2 Body Shop has some shots of GTP cars in ICR2 and I'm not sure what more.

One of the ground breaking ICR2 track editors was a guy calling himself Tea-man, his site is still online after all these years.

All I know about this guy is that I probably can't prenounce his name and that his ID card expired a couple of months ago. Other than that he used to have a small page about ICR2 as well.

There are a number of Nascar Racing 3 converted tracks over at Spanky Doo's site.

If Formula 1 and ICR2 sounds like a great combination to you then RK's F1 Carsets site might have some good downloads for you [down].

At CR3 Motorsports there is a selection of tracks screens and other files for ICR2.

At the end of my list a site that I can't understand but I'm pretty sure that it's about ICR2. It's in Spanish.
