has a new director
After 5 seasons in charge as Director of IIRS Sander Maas has decided
it is time for a new Director. His duties
will be taken over by John Howlett. John Howlett is the 2008 roadcourse
champion and now is a parttime driver for his
own team Silverback Racing. He will take over from this moment and
scoring the Bullrun race will be his first duty as Director.

Joshua Flynn has won the 2009 IIRS championship in spectacular fashion.
Picking up the fast last lap point proved to be vital.
He finished at the same amount of points as Troy Elser, because of this
bonus point and won the championship based on having two more runnerup
sports.

Endurance
The Sanzar Racing Team has won the endurance race at Watkins Glen. The
race at Bullrun will be the decider as the race at Mexico City was
cancelled.

season 2010
The plans for next season have been layed out already.
2010 will be the 14th consecutive season IIRS will be racing.
The year once again will start with the Survivor Series at Knoxville to
get the blood flowing.
This event will be followed by the running of our yearly Daytona
Endurance race. There will be more endurance races
this season. More information will follow on this as we are waiting on
track availability.
The second year of a united IIRS schedule will start with a race in
Brazil in Marc and end in Homestead in October. Settings and carsets
are being looked at this moment.

The driversdatabase has been updated with the new drivers and new
issued numbers.
